This article includes the following documented change logs to our Boats for Sale Marketplace:
1. Increase Description Character Count: We have increased the listing detail page description character count to now be 10,000 characters (versus the 4,000) you had before. This impacts imported descriptions from LightSpeed and manually loaded descriptions into the marketplace.
2. BFS Admin>Ability to add/remove Makes and Types: An admin of the BFS system will now be able to manually add makes and types to the system when needed to support our customers adding new listings. If you are listing a boat and do not see your make or type from the menu, please reach out to customerservice@boatsforsale.com and we can get that added for you quickly!
3. Image Optimization: Images used within the marketplace are now resized and compressed to improve load speed concerns. Each image size is resized specific for its use (search thumbnail, detail hero, detail gallery – etc.). You should expect to see improved site load speeds, with minimal sacrifice to the quality of image.
