Website Inventory Update

Released on 5/30/2025

This plugin update includes the following:

  1. Nationwide Inventory: All dealer sites will display the Onewater Marine Nationwide Inventory
  • The customer can check “Our Nationwide Inventory” to display all inventory
  • Nationwide Inventory will display after the local listings of the dealership website that the customer is on
  • The Nationwide Inventory will be ordered by the closest distance to the IP address of the customer

2. Lead Routing: New Boats – The customer is required to select the lead submission location

  • The lead will route to the lead group of the dealership that the customer selects in the dropdown.
  • This is a requirement for the customer.
  • Once selected, the form will display the name, address, and phone number of the location
  • Website lead routing diagram available below:

3. Search/Summary Page: Randomized Ordering

  • When the customer initially lands on the summary page, all boats will be in random order
  • This allows the customer to view the variety of makes/models that the dealer offers
  • This forces the customer to narrow their search by type or make

4. Select Your Store

  • Dealer sites now display a “Select Your Store” in the top left corner
  • The customer can select their store to customize the website content based on their location preference
    • This is the same concept as shopping online at Lowes, CVS, etc. to view the inventory at the location you prefer
    • Once selected, the customer has the ability to view inventory at their store only if they choose

5. Listing Detail Page Updates

  • The listing detail page has been reorderd to: Options > Specs > Description
  • Description has HTML formatting
  • All Listings display the physical boat location in 3 places:
    • Specs
    • Beside the pricing
    • Inside of the map
  • Added HIN information to the Specs section
  • Freight/Prep/Taxes disclaimer added to the bottom of description and footer
  • Removed “Schedule A Tour” option due to low engagement and page layout improvements
